In-House Executive Search

Aimed at those individuals who are responsible for planning and building an in-house executive search capability, this half-day session begins by looking at the rationale behind creating an in-house function, moving on to the different ways to structure it and the processes and systems necessary to support it. We look at examples of companies which have succeeded and discuss pitfalls to avoid. Hiring the right people, getting buy-in at senior level and developing good internal communications are essential to developing a robust and sustainable in-house function. There are a number of skills and attributes which should be sought when hiring new team members or promoting from within. Finally, we discuss the R.O.I. and discuss predicting and measuring the ways in which the business will benefit.
